Farewell Hymnal

When the gold goes and the bones rose

And the shadows hang like beasts of the unknown

When the sun lowers and the wind blows

The lake froze, the birds chose to finally find a new home.

When the snow falls and the leaves crawl

And the fire dances sweet against the wall

When the white stalls and the lights calls

We're thankful just to be anywhere at all

When the leaves grow and the rose shows

And the birds fly home again once more

The dirt hits our nose and the organ flows

The people rose, the roses dove, and we all sang as one soul.

Glory, glory hallelujah since I’ve laid my burdens down x2

No more sickness, no more sorrow since I’ve laid my burdens down x2
